However, despite these challenges from the outset, both Jonathan and Bradley have proven themselves to be exemplary professionals while guiding us through the process. To say it has been a winding journey would be an understatement with the current climate of the property market paired with the fact that we needed to sell our apartment to move forward, the Dandara team had their work cut out for them. We first started liaising with Jonathan and Bradley at Dandara’s The Grove in December 2022 where we became interested in purchasing a property. Its a pity we can't give less than a 1 star rating because we'd put them into a negative rating. They wouldn't contribute to our other losses like surveys and conveyancing fees, which they insisted that we needed when we were purchasing the house.
They said they refunded it as a 'Gesture of Goodwill'. We had trouble getting our full deposit back, but we did eventually. 'We can sell it' they said '28 days of no sale is in the small print'. Out of the blue they rang us 2 days prior to Christmas 2022 to say that someone had enquired about plot 67, so they sold it to them.
We were in contact with the sales team constantly and they assured us that everything was ok. Dandara assured us that everything was ok and said to re-market our house as the new house wouldn't be ready for at least 6 months anyway. Our buyer withdrew when we were about to sign contracts. We reserved a house at the Sweetings ( plot 67) and secured it with a deposit. My advice is to avoid Dandara like the plague.
